How Media Can Play Role In Defining the Good Name Of a Country

Media has a vital role in any country’s politics. In fact, it is said that now media has become so much powerful that they can make or break the government. Media has a very primary role in any country’s growth and dignity in the eyes of foreign countries. Media is considered to be the face of your nation, so it contains very heavy responsibility on its shoulders to show the positive image across the Pakistan and around the globe. Unfortunately, in Pakistan media has failed to portray positive images in front of the foreign media.

Many of us our elders tend to wake up early in the morning and reading newspaper is their first priority, on the other hand a small group of our youth who have interest in current affairs go to office, turn on their computers or laptops and after that the first thing they do is reading the local newspaper online by visiting the website.

All the newspaper publish a daily online newspaper, but the issue is, the newspaper gives the story of a particular time or hours but cannot keep you aware by the minute by minute changing the situation in the country. For this purpose, people connect to different live news channels that facilitate you watching the live streaming and this way you can stay tuned to latest news and updates.

I feel very sorry for Pakistani media who is actively and constantly participating in negative reporting and probably that’s why we are facing a chaos situation in Pakistan. Everybody is mentally under swear stress, we are not ready to bear anyone. A single piece of mistake turns into a dreadful fight. So I personally think that in the current situation media has not played its positive role.
Here in Pakistan a slender explosion becomes breaking news, a government office sleeping during parliament session become breaking news, anyone shouting and barking on its competitor becomes a news alert.

So the is the situation we are facing which is why the world hates Pakistani people. Unfortunately, I think personally all the blame should be owned by the responsible Pakistani media houses because it has brutally damaged the image of our country. They are seeking for the channel rating, program rating and In Pakistan rating means how spicy news you can publish. So every channel is in a race of beating competitor irrespective of the fact where the nation is going or where you (media) are leading the nation.
